Right at this moment, as you are reading these words, regardless of what thoughts and emotions that are whirling around in you, you have an inner sanctuary of ease, vitality and love. This inner anchor is always with you underneath. In todays culture, many of us are out of contact with this inner home. Yet when we take the time to pause, and reflect with utter acceptance and compassion, we give ourselves the chance to re-arrive in our presence and to relax into this inner sanctuary.
When you are grounded in your inner anchor, you can make life-enhancing choices to live out whats deep in your heart. It is also from this space that you can relate to your difficult thoughts, emotions and physical sensations, (no matter what difficult life situation you have) in such a way that they have much less impact and influence over you.
My practice utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness evidence-based psychological approaches as well as Nondual psychotherapy. I help individuals, executives and groups move toward their valued goals to optimize fulfillment, purpose, authenticity, and inner ease. My clients do this while effectively relating to their barriers that arise. Specifically, I help clients with anxiety, depression, eating issues, insomnia, as well as life stress, relationships, life transitions, work issues, grief, anger and dating.

For the past 10 years I have been immersed in Vipassana meditation and Nondual teachings and practices. Ive attended numerous daylong and weeklong retreats and spent extensive amounts of time meditating and listening to Dharma talks. For the last few years, mindfulness and presence has permeated all of my life. Regular life is now a meditation for me as I am present and aware most moments of most days. I teach day-long meditation retreats at the introductory and advanced levels. Additionally, to various companies, I teach a Mindfulness Based Emotional Intelligence Course for the Workplace that was developed at Google Search Inside Yourself.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY21858) and I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of California at Berkeley, and my Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University. I have received comprehensive training Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapies, Nondual psychotherapy as well as self-compassion and self-acceptance practices. Furthermore, I have undergone extensive study and practice of the teachings of Tara Brach and Adyashanti. I also train other therapists to do Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
