My therapeutic style is warm, interactive and collaborative. I work
with individuals and couples using principles of Buddhist Psychology,
which include clarity, compassion and wisdom. My work with
individuals focuses on their challenges in the areas of relationships and
co-dependency, life transitions, depression and anxiety. I specialize in
working with clients interested in exploring self-identity and spiritual
growth. Working with couples, I hold the relationship in the context of
a shared spiritual journey.

happier life.

have attended Spirit Rock retreats regularly since 1998. Sitting a

For fourteen years I have been a member of a local Sangha. My
spiritual practice includes Vipassana, Dzogchen and Mahamudra
traditions. I regularly attend Vipassana retreats at Spirit Rock.

I received a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with a
specialization in Transpersonal Counseling from John F. Kennedy
University in 2000. My thesis was on Buddhist Psychology and delved
deeply into the works of John Welwood and David Brazier (Zen
Therapy). I have completed training in Hakomi Therapy. I also have
training in the Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) and NonViolent
