I view lifes difficult challenges as openings for profound positive change. Relationship conflicts, bereavement, trauma, job distress, midlife and other life transitions are doorways to soul-work: where deeper
healing and growth occurs in alignment with your Authentic Self. I believe in your inherent strengths, resilience and creative potential as an individual as well as the ability of couples and families to achieve new levels of connection, understanding and cooperation. My style is warm, compassionate, reflective and interactive. With over thirty-five years professional experience, I draw from my trained and intuitive skills, using humor, clear insight and honest feedback to guide you in your transformative process of healing and personal development.

My meditation practice began in the early 70s inspired by a retreat led by Alan Watts. Since then Ive attended many weekend and weeklong meditation retreats in the Vipassana tradition. In addition, my spiritual path includes the healing power of nature and meditative wilderness retreats; Creativity; and a process called Enlightenment Intensives, a contemplative dyad inquiry into the essential nature of Who I Am.

Im a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice for over thirty-five years. My specialties include Relationship issues; Self Esteem; Creativity and Action Blocks; Grief and Loss; Life Transitions; Stress and Traumatic Stress. My training includes EMDR (for stress and trauma recovery, performance enhancement, overcoming action- blocks and increasing self-confidence); Wilderness Retreats; Creative Process Painting; Inner Relationship Focusing; Coaching and Group Leadership. I work with couples, families, and individuals.
